Nowadays, hospital users expect many products that in the past were offered by different companies to be offered in a single product line. For example before 5 years it was common that one vendor was offering PACS, another vendor offered RIS and ultrasound department was covered by 3rd vendor or system. Now competitors beat you if you have a gap in the product line.

  • Identify how to integrate the product into your infrastructures
  • Identify necessary mandatory and optional regulatory requirements and steps which needs to be taken to satisfy them. Those may include FDA, CE, HIPAA, AAMI, various data registries and others from the myriads of regulations which may stand on the way of your product to the market.
  • Educate key people on the product
  • Outline clear and phased action plan
